Hammond Media Group loves southern barbecue, so we jumped at the opportunity to create a website for the newly opened Station Barbecue in West Memphis, Arkansas: TheStationBarbecue.com.
Using the customizable and responsive WordPress Suffusion theme, we designed a site that incorporated layered textures such as images of a tin roof, dark wood and gray checkerboard to convey the decor of their BBQ restaurant. We wanted to keep it down to earth, yet professional. The left navigation transform into red arrows to really draw attention to the services provided when highlighted. The red/gray color pallette, fonts and images used immediately reinforce to the viewere that this is a good ole fashioned BBQ joint.
Based on the client’s input, we created a website that would help promote their restaurant to local residents, and we incorporated SEO keywords to encourage interstate drivers to stop by too. Some of the feeatures included integrating an up-to-date Google Map which highlighted their location, contact us form, Facebook integration and SEO tactics.
